Installation Spotlight!

The new Giardina Dualtech 415 automatic spraying machine was installed at Carver Cabinetry's manufacturing facilities in Norwich Ontario. A big thanks to the Carver staff for their generous hospitality and sharing the installation experience. Both Carver and Giardina staff took time demonstrating the operation of this brand new finishing machine.

Wood Employee Readiness Curriculum (WERC)

Taurus Craco was invited to meet with committee overseeing the WERC program. A program designed and administered by the Wood Manufacturing Council, WERC is a training program designed to attract workers from a variety of backgrounds to help increase awareness, provide basic wood industry job readiness skills and create a bridge for motivated individuals to enter the job market. This is a great opportunity for manufacturers that can help bridge the employment gap. Employers can contribute time or their facility for tours and training. Taurus Craco and the Wood Manufacturing Council will be holding a plant tour and demo of the WoodED Table on coming Friday February 17 at Muskoka Cabinets. Ottawa and area woodworking instructors will participate as part of a professional development day.
